-Social media can be one of the hardest parts of running a Business-

It's easy enough to post to a personal social media account...you don't have to think twice about the quality of the images, or how they look as a whole, but as soon as you are posting for your business and for your brand, you find yourself realizing that you need something better. With so much content on social media, it is more important than ever to put out images that are not only eye-catching, but images & video that represent your brand so that you are attracting the type of followers that turn in to customers.

I was contacted by Sarah, owner of Bella Cuore Organic Beauty in Downtown Rochester, and she explained that she was really busy with the daily needs of her store and that she wanted help with images for social media. We talked about her brand, vision, and products, and decided that clean & crisp flatlays with a touch of nature was what her organic make-up business needed. I arranged to pick up a selection of products from her and got to work!

As you can see in the pull-back below, I worked on a small piece of white paper with all of my plant material nearby which was chosen based on the shape and color of the product to create an aesthetically pleasing image. To keep the look consistent I used flash, and I also used a small selection of white reflectors placed carefully to keep the light even but still directional enough to add dimension.

If your business is ready to start posting quality content to it's social media accounts, get in touch!
